Abalone Collection

Abalone beads are natural shell from the Abalone (type of sea snail) exposing a rainbow of natural color from the iridescent mother-of-peal inner layer of the shell. Despite a MOHS hardness of 2.5 to 4, Abalone is durable and an excellent choice for jewelry with its swirling patterns of silver, blue, green, and purple or pink flashes of color! Just as these beautiful shell beads provided protection for the Abalone itself, they are linked with healing, peace, protection, and instilling a sense of calm or tranquility for those who use or wear them.  Associated chakras are the heart, third-eye, and crown.
